Klong Dao Beach

Klong Dao is a west-coast beach in the northern part of Koh Lanta Yai. It is convenient to compare with nearby stays and food when planning a short outing. Find a public access point and check the day sea conditions before you go.

Long Beach / Phra Ae

Long Beach, also called Phra Ae, runs along Koh Lanta west coast. Choose the part of the beach that suits where you are staying or eating, then check a public entrance. A resort gate is not automatically an open route to the sand.

Klong Khong Beach

Klong Khong is a beach area to explore alongside nearby restaurants and stays. The shoreline can look different with the tide, so check conditions on the day and choose where to enter. Do not assume every stretch is suitable for swimming.

Klong Nin Beach

Klong Nin offers another west-coast beach stop with food and accommodation nearby. It can fit an afternoon or evening plan if you arrange your return trip. Check a public route to the beach and current conditions before you set off.

Kantiang Bay

Kantiang Bay is a southern stop for travellers exploring Koh Lanta beyond the northern beaches. Allow time for the road journey and decide where you want to enter the bay. Check public access, parking and your ride back before leaving.

Lanta Old Town / Baan Sriraya

Lanta Old Town, also known as Baan Sriraya, is a waterfront area on Koh Lanta east coast. Walk the public streets, look at the seafront and choose a place to eat. Respect homes and private spaces, and plan your return transport.

Mu Ko Lanta National Park / Tanod Cape

The southern tip of Koh Lanta Yai has a national park area near Tanod Cape and the lighthouse landscape. Check the park current entrance, opening information and any fees before travelling. Offshore island access can follow different seasonal rules.

Khlong Chak Waterfall

Khlong Chak is a waterfall walk in southern Koh Lanta. Water levels vary with the season, and the route may be affected by rain. Confirm the trailhead, access and conditions locally before starting; do not count on a fixed flow or swimming spot.

Thung Yee Peng mangrove community

At Thung Yee Peng, an east-coast community offers a way to learn about the mangroves and local area. The Tourism Authority of Thailand describes local boat trips and kayak options. Check the current programme, meeting point and booking before travelling.

Kaw Kwang Beach / Hat Kor Kwang

Hat Kor Kwang is one of the beach areas named by Thailand tourism authority for Koh Lanta. If you are staying in the north, consider it while planning your day. Ask locally for a public entrance and check sea conditions before visiting.
